Wonderful Winter Escape! My family and I along with another family had an awesome opportunity to kick off our Winter with this house rental. By the end of the weekend, all of our shared experiences made the house feel much more like a home away from home. The house had spacious common spaces which allowed for a variety of kid/adult time combos. Each bedroom had comfy mattresses and pillows. With all the closeby outdoor activities we slept extra well each night. Waking up to the sound of the rumbling creek in the backyard was truly peaceful. The fully equipped kitchen and living room areas had an open layout which made transitions in and out from one activity to the next smooth for our families. Our kids loved running around and exploring the open space around the home. They loved the foosball tables and many hide-n-seek areas within the home. The location of the house was ideal. We were minutes away from Whiteface Mt. (to ski and snowboard) and Santa's Workshop, North Pole amusement park (there really is an icy "North Pole"). During the evenings we drove into Lake Placid for additional shopping and dining opportunities. There was so much to see and explore. We would highly recommend this home to your family :) ~Agnieszka L.
