Hemlock Condo G2 is a very nice and spacious 2 bedroom, 3 bath Olympic Resort Condominium vacation rental situated within the Whiteface Club & Resort. This beautiful Adirondack style condo was remodeled in 2013 and features rarely offered air conditioning, large bedrooms with en-suite baths, a fully equipped new gourmet kitchen with granite counters, dining table with seating for 6 and living room with wood burning fireplace and flat screen TV (firestick available). The patio off the back of the home holds furniture and a gas grill for cooking and dining outdoors. This condo is able to sleep 6 very comfortably with the pull-out sofa in the living room. Walk from your front door through beautifully landscaped grounds to the Whiteface Lodge, 2 restaurants, tennis courts, hiking/cross country ski trails, golf course and the shores of Lake Placid.  The center of Lake Placid Village with several restaurants, venues, public beach and Olympic Arenas is only a few minutes away, along with Horseshow Grounds, Ski Jumps and luge/bobsled complex.

Hemlock Condo G2 at the Whiteface Club & Resort offers a Maximum of 2 parking spaces for guest use. The Town of North Elba, Village of Lake Placid has adopted new Short-Term Vacation Rental Regulations that include rental parking limitations for the maximum number of motor vehicles allowed on property. Parking is NOT permitted on any part of the lawn or on any part of a sidewalk and like other communities the ordinance asks that you obey all regulations when parking in public.

We spent two wonderful weeks at this condo. The location was ideal for us. It's adjacent to the spectacular Whiteface Club and Resort. We enjoyed long walks on the property, and the golf course is within walking distance as well. The condo itself is super-comfortable. The beds are excellent, and I'm picky. The two bedrooms have an en-suite bath. There is also a full bath on the ground floor. The kitchen has been recently remodeled and all the appliances are brand-new and high end. It is perfectly and thoughtfully supplied with utensils, glasses, dishes, pots and pans. There are several notable restaurants at the adjacent resort, all of which have views of Lake Placid. We will return!

We had been invited to a wedding at the Whiteface Lodge. The Hemlock was so close to the wedding venue along with St. Agnes Church. It was great having the location only a mile away. (If that) Beautiful golf course right next door along with many gorgeous sights within there. The condo was well equipped with everything that you needed for the weekend.

Staff professional, friendly and accommodating
As mentioned during checkout, the parking spaces in front of the unit were not always available as they were taken up by others. In one instance, I had to park my truck around the corner from the property in a place where there was really not enough room. It would have been nice if the spaces were marked 'Reserved for Unit XX'. Lines painted on the parking lot would also help as one particular vehicle took up more than 1 space.

Q.  What type of vacation rental properties do you offer?
A.  We offer a wide selection of vacation rental properties ranging from cozy cabins to luxury retreats.  We set very high-standards to enhance your vacation experience and ensure guest satisfaction.  All Engel & Volkers rental properties are well maintained in desirable locations, fully furnished and tastefully appointed.
Q. What are your office hours?
A. Our office is open from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. six days a week, Sunday’s by appointment and available to handle issues 24/7.
Q.  Where and when do I check-in the day of my arrival?
A.  Check in time is 4:00 p.m. unless we have approved and earlier check-in time. Please stop by our office to pick up your key and complimentary welcome tote. If you plan to arrive after 5:00 p.m., kindly let us know and we will make arrangements with you for key pickup.  Engel & Volkers is conveniently located at 2284 Saranac Avenue, Lake Placid, NY 12946. 
Q.  When is departure time?
A. The check-out time is 10:00 a.m., sharp. If possible, we will grant late check-out requests on the day of departure. Please call us at least 48 hours in advance if you wish to extend your check-out. Please note that late check-outs are not always available due to reservation turnovers.
Q. Is there a cleaning fee?
A. Yes, there is a one-time cleaning fee that applies to every rental. This fee is based on the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and overall size of the property. If you’d like additional housekeeping during your stay, please call us to book a mid-stay clean.
Q.  Are linens and towels included?
A.  Yes, all of our vacation rental properties include linens and towels at the property for your use.
Q.  Are paper products, soaps and other household supplies included?
Our vacation rentals are furnished with a start-up supply of paper and soap products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, garbage bags, a clean sponge and laundry soap. Some homes may also have a basic supply of spices, cooking oil and cooking spray.  Depending on how long your stay is and your level of usage, you may need to purchase more of these items at any of the local grocery stores.
Q.  Are washers & dryers available?
A. Yes, most of our properties have a washer and dryer available.
Q. Are pets permitted?
A. Some of our vacation properties accept pets and a pet deposit is required.  Please look for a pet friendly designation on our web-site or call us and we can help arrange suitable accommodations.
Q. Is smoking allowed in my rental property?
A. No, smoking is strictly prohibited in any of our vacation properties.
Q. Is there air-conditioning in my rental property?
A.  Most properties do not have air conditioning since the average daily high temperature tends to hover around 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer months.
