This recently renovated gorgeous home has lots of large windows that allow for a bright, sunny atmosphere throughout. The entry foyer welcomes guests with a sitting area and a high desk for ease of catching up on your social media while away and also has an additional desk in the living room. The fully applianced chef's kitchen has everything you would need to prepare your own gourmet meals for dining in and the king's table in the dining room easily seats 10 with an additional breakfast nook located off the kitchen. The spacious living room with a sectional sofa, lots of seating, and games table off to the side easily and comfortably accommodates everyone in your group and opens onto a huge covered wrap-around deck with lots of outdoor furniture and a grill that looks out onto sweeping lawns, perfect for lawn games or to just relax while gazing on gorgeous landscaping!  With 5 bedrooms on the 2nd floor and 2 more bedrooms and a den on the 3rd floor, you are sure to find lots of quiet space and a cozy nook for reading a good novel! For those who like to get a little work time in while away, this home also has two Peloton exercise bikes available for guest use.

A short easy walk leads to Lake Placid Main Street with several eateries, shops, a multi-theater building, Mirror Lake Public Beach with tennis courts and a park, the Olympic Venues, and much more! All kinds of sporting opportunities can be found in the surrounding area including golf, biking, boating, hiking, skiing, fishing, skating, and skiing. The Olympic Village boasts an abundance of year-round activities, entertainment options, and two lakes in a beautiful and quaint setting! Experience the joy of free summer concerts in Mids Park or walk down to the lakeside with skates in hand to take a wintertime skating tour around the edges of MIrror Lake along a cleared pathway! Lochloosa offers a Maximum of 12 parking spaces for guest use. The Town of North Elba, Village of Lake Placid has adopted new Short-Term Vacation Rental Regulations that include rental parking limitations for the maximum number of motor vehicles allowed on property. Parking is NOT permitted on any part of the lawn or on any part of a sidewalk and like other communities the ordinance asks that you obey all regulations when parking in public.

Q.  What type of vacation rental properties do you offer?
A.  We offer a wide selection of vacation rental properties ranging from cozy cabins to luxury retreats.  We set very high-standards to enhance your vacation experience and ensure guest satisfaction.  All Engel & Volkers rental properties are well maintained in desirable locations, fully furnished and tastefully appointed.
Q. What are your office hours?
A. Our office is open from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. six days a week, Sunday’s by appointment and available to handle issues 24/7.
Q.  Where and when do I check-in the day of my arrival?
A.  Check in time is 4:00 p.m. unless we have approved and earlier check-in time. Please stop by our office to pick up your key and complimentary welcome tote. If you plan to arrive after 5:00 p.m., kindly let us know and we will make arrangements with you for key pickup.  Engel & Volkers is conveniently located at 2284 Saranac Avenue, Lake Placid, NY 12946. 
Q.  When is departure time?
A. The check-out time is 10:00 a.m., sharp. If possible, we will grant late check-out requests on the day of departure. Please call us at least 48 hours in advance if you wish to extend your check-out. Please note that late check-outs are not always available due to reservation turnovers.
Q. Is there a cleaning fee?
A. Yes, there is a one-time cleaning fee that applies to every rental. This fee is based on the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and overall size of the property. If you’d like additional housekeeping during your stay, please call us to book a mid-stay clean.
Q.  Are linens and towels included?
A.  Yes, all of our vacation rental properties include linens and towels at the property for your use.
Q.  Are paper products, soaps and other household supplies included?
Our vacation rentals are furnished with a start-up supply of paper and soap products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, garbage bags, a clean sponge and laundry soap. Some homes may also have a basic supply of spices, cooking oil and cooking spray.  Depending on how long your stay is and your level of usage, you may need to purchase more of these items at any of the local grocery stores.
Q.  Are washers & dryers available?
A. Yes, most of our properties have a washer and dryer available.
Q. Are pets permitted?
A. Some of our vacation properties accept pets and a pet deposit is required.  Please look for a pet friendly designation on our web-site or call us and we can help arrange suitable accommodations.
Q. Is smoking allowed in my rental property?
A. No, smoking is strictly prohibited in any of our vacation properties.
Q. Is there air-conditioning in my rental property?
A.  Most properties do not have air conditioning since the average daily high temperature tends to hover around 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer months.
