Lakeside #19 is located within the grounds of the Whiteface Club & Resort. This great Lakeside unit offers luxury living in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath waterfront condo vacation rental on Lake Placid. This gorgeous home is professionally decorated in an Adirondack lodge theme with antiques and orientals throughout. Special features include cedar log trim, granite counters in the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, distressed hardwood floors, a custom stone fireplace, 32' HDTV/DVD in the family room and a 37' HDTV in the master bedroom with a queen bed. The 2nd bedroom holds both a queen bed and bunk beds and there is a laundry room.  Walk out to beautifully landscaped grounds and relax in Adirondack chairs facing the lake to take advantage of the perfect spot to sit and gaze on fabulous views of Whiteface Mountain, the surrounding High Peaks and Lake Placid lake. Walk to 2 restaurants from your front door, venture into the center of the Olympic Village with several venues and eateries only minutes away or spend a day on the slopes of majestic Whiteface Mountain about 15 minutes away.

This wonderful vacation rental offers summer rentals on a weekly basis from Saturday-Saturday, with an occupancy limit of 5 guests and the rental of this home is complete with 5 beach passes for guest use of the private Whiteface Club beach.

We have rented several units at the Whiteface Club and Resort and this property is one of the best. The view from the unit is magnificent and the privacy of the patio area is great. The beds are comfy and the kitchen well-appointed. The WCR offers something for everyone, golf, swimming, water craft and just plain relaxation. There's nothing like an early morning walk through the lovely gardens and golf course. At night you can hear the loons as the cool evening sets in. This is truly a little piece of heaven.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautifully appointed condo. The condo is only a short 5 min. drive to shops and restaurants on main street in town. While far enough away you can enjoy the peaceful beauty of the gardens and lake. There is so much to do in this area and the home owners provided lots of suggestions and brochures for activities. They also checked in with us to ensure there wasn't anything we needed. We can't say enough positive things about our stay at this condo. It is a gem and if we get the chance to return to the LP area we will definitely plan to stay here again.

The place was really nice and had everything that you would need. Having a full supply of wood for the fireplace was key. Great views of the mountains-and frozen lake. Great place if you for a small group or family. We will be back

I was seeking a quiet retreat with great views of the mountains and lake and easy access to X-C ski areas, as well as the local town. This is exactly what I found at this condo. The on-line pictures and description were true to the actual site, the condo was clean and welcoming, conveniently located to the town and the ski areas. I was pleased to find that I was able to ski from the condo location to area X-C trails. I would definitely like to return and will be recommending this condo and site to friends & family.

Located amidst beautiful gardens along the edge of Lake Placid, this is my happy place. Quiet, with the scent of pines and flowers filling the air, it doesn't get much better than this. A comfy living room allows you to sit by the fireplace and watch family movies on rainy nights, and the view from the corner of the sofa is perfect for watching the mist float over the lake. Two good sized bedrooms and full baths make it very comfortable for families. We took Grandma and let her have her own room while we shared a room with our son who slept in the bunk bed. There was more room for guests in the den behind the fireplace if my brother decided to show up. The two bathrooms were lifesavers :-). The kitchen has just about everything you need, even a cookie jar shaped like a moose! The decor is beautiful - someone must have professionally done it. The pictures really don't do that part justice. A great little getaway, especially for those who prefer the quietude of being just out of town, but with quick and easy access to it. Two supermarkets just around the corner make it really easy to plan your meals, and having dinner as a family with a lake view every night is better than eating out anytime!

A. We offer a wide selection of vacation rental properties ranging from cozy cabins to luxury retreats. We set very high-standards to enhance your vacation experience and ensure guest satisfaction. All Engel & Volkers rental properties are well maintained in desirable locations, fully furnished and tastefully appointed.
Q. What are your office hours?
A. Our office is open from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. six days a week, Sunday’s by appointment and available to handle issues 24/7.
Q. Where and when do I check-in the day of my arrival?
A. Check in time is 4:00 p.m. unless we have approved and earlier check-in time. Please stop by our office to pick up your key and complimentary welcome tote. If you plan to arrive after 5:00 p.m., kindly let us know and we will make arrangements with you for key pickup. Engel & Volkers is conveniently located at 2284 Saranac Avenue, Lake Placid, NY 12946.
Q. When is departure time?
A. The check-out time is 10:00 a.m., sharp. If possible, we will grant late check-out requests on the day of departure. Please call us at least 48 hours in advance if you wish to extend your check-out. Please note that late check-outs are not always available due to reservation turnovers.
Q. Is there a cleaning fee?
A. Yes, there is a one-time cleaning fee that applies to every rental. This fee is based on the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and overall size of the property. If you’d like additional housekeeping during your stay, please call us to book a mid-stay clean.
Q. Are linens and towels included?
A. Yes, all of our vacation rental properties include linens and towels at the property for your use.
Q. Are paper products, soaps and other household supplies included?
Our vacation rentals are furnished with a start-up supply of paper and soap products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, garbage bags, a clean sponge and laundry soap. Some homes may also have a basic supply of spices, cooking oil and cooking spray. Depending on how long your stay is and your level of usage, you may need to purchase more of these items at any of the local grocery stores.
Q. Are washers & dryers available?
A. Yes, most of our properties have a washer and dryer available.
Q. Are pets permitted?
A. Some of our vacation properties accept pets and a pet deposit is required. Please look for a pet friendly designation on our web-site or call us and we can help arrange suitable accommodations.
Q. Is smoking allowed in my rental property?
A. No, smoking is strictly prohibited in any of our vacation properties.
Q. Is there air-conditioning in my rental property?
A. Most properties do not have air conditioning since the average daily high temperature tends to hover around 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer months.
