Riverbend Townhome #29 is a well appointed 3 bedroom, 4.5 bath Adirondack craftsman townhouse located within one of Lake Placid's newest townhouse communities in a very nice residential area. This wonderful Townhome Vacation Rental sits just a few minutes drive away from the Olympic Village Main Street and several venues. There is also access to the Chubb River for canoeing/kayaking and several hiking or cross country ski opportunities nearby. The main level features a comfortable living room with gas fireplace and flat screen TV, a chef's kitchen with granite counters and 5 bar stools, dining room with French doors leading to the deck and a powder room. The upper level has three large bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The downstairs offers an entertainment room complete with pool table, wet bar with mini-fridge and dishwasher, gym area with exercise equipment, a full bathroom and 2 sofa sleepers. This gorgeous and spacious home with high end Adirondack furnishings throughout has wireless internet and is able to accommodate 8-10 people.

This house was absolutely perfect for our stay. The neighborhood was beautiful and serene right on the lake. The rooms were big with super comfortable beds. Our favorite thing was the kitchen, great layout that allowed us to do family dinners comfortably. Thank you for such a great stay!

Beautiful house! We would stay there again. Only minor downside is that it's not waking distance to town. Ubers are available but took a long time (about 30 mins) the weekend we were there. It was a busy weekend and I expect the Uber time will get better as more people become Uber drivers.

The townhouse was perfect! Plenty of space for the family and great location for everyone to walk down to Lisa G's to eat and watch the race. Updated with all amenities that you could imagine. If you forgot something, the kitchen was fully supplied. Makes it nice to vacation somewhere and not have to worry about buying salt or garbage bags. Would consider staying here again for Ironman 2018.

Donna Puckhaber was knowledgeable of the available properties and helpful in finding us the perfect spot for our family.
Our family loved the property.!The location was perfect, the townhouse was spacious, the two fireplaces were cozy, the kitchen was well-equipped, the layout of the kitchen/island/family room was great for conversation, and the bathrooms, especially the toilets, were really sweet. The unit was spotless, too.


Well behaved dogs allowed with pet deposit.

Q. What type of vacation rental properties do you offer?
A. We offer a wide selection of vacation rental properties ranging from cozy cabins to luxury retreats. We set very high-standards to enhance your vacation experience and ensure guest satisfaction. All Engel & Volkers rental properties are well maintained in desirable locations, fully furnished and tastefully appointed.
Q. What are your office hours?
A. Our office is open from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. six days a week, Sunday’s by appointment and available to handle issues 24/7.
Q. Where and when do I check-in the day of my arrival?
A. Check in time is 4:00 p.m. unless we have approved and earlier check-in time. Please stop by our office to pick up your key and complimentary welcome tote. If you plan to arrive after 5:00 p.m., kindly let us know and we will make arrangements with you for key pickup. Engel & Volkers is conveniently located at 2284 Saranac Avenue, Lake Placid, NY 12946.
Q. When is departure time?
A. The check-out time is 10:00 a.m., sharp. If possible, we will grant late check-out requests on the day of departure. Please call us at least 48 hours in advance if you wish to extend your check-out. Please note that late check-outs are not always available due to reservation turnovers.
Q. Is there a cleaning fee?
A. Yes, there is a one-time cleaning fee that applies to every rental. This fee is based on the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and overall size of the property. If you’d like additional housekeeping during your stay, please call us to book a mid-stay clean.
Q. Are linens and towels included?
A. Yes, all of our vacation rental properties include linens and towels at the property for your use.
Q. Are paper products, soaps and other household supplies included?
Our vacation rentals are furnished with a start-up supply of paper and soap products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, garbage bags, a clean sponge and laundry soap. Some homes may also have a basic supply of spices, cooking oil and cooking spray. Depending on how long your stay is and your level of usage, you may need to purchase more of these items at any of the local grocery stores.
Q. Are washers & dryers available?
A. Yes, most of our properties have a washer and dryer available.
Q. Are pets permitted?
A. Some of our vacation properties accept pets and a pet deposit is required. Please look for a pet friendly designation on our web-site or call us and we can help arrange suitable accommodations.
Q. Is smoking allowed in my rental property?
A. No, smoking is strictly prohibited in any of our vacation properties.
Q. Is there air-conditioning in my rental property?
A. Most properties do not have air conditioning since the average daily high temperature tends to hover around 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer months.
