Sandbrook Lodge #16 is a superb Lake Placid vacation rental in a great location with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths that accommodates 9 guests. This gorgeous home has an inviting open floor plan that includes a chefs kitchen with top end appliances for preparing meals at home, dining room and the living room with sectional sofa, fireplace and access to the deck with golf course views. The roomy master suite has a desk area and all baths are custom tiled. The lower level holds the showpiece of this great rental and beckons visitors to enjoy hours of at home entertainment with a wet bar, foosball table and comfy seating for those that like to spend their down time relaxing with a good book or watching a movie. This rental sits in an ideal Adirondack vacation setting within walking distance through gorgeous and immaculately landscaped grounds to reach the shore of Lake Placid lake, fine dining, golf, tennis and hiking opportunities. The center of the scenic Olympic Village with theaters, access to both Lake Placid and Mirror Lake, shopping and dining galore, year round sporting opportunities and much more sits only a few minutes drive away. Hop a trolley and tour the Village or take a boat cruise across Lake Placid and learn more about the local history.

NUMBER OF VEHICLES ALLOWED:
Sand Brook Lodge offers a Maximum of 2 parking spaces for guest use. The Town of North Elba, Village of Lake Placid has adopted new Short-Term Vacation Rental Regulations that include rental parking limitations for the maximum number of motor vehicles allowed on property. Parking is NOT permitted on any part of the lawn or on any part of a sidewalk and like other communities the ordinance asks that you obey all regulations when parking in public. The parking plan for Sand Brook Lodge has been provided and is displayed in the images of the property.

Sand Brook Lodge was the perfect getaway; Its a well-appointed, quiet and desirable end-unit. Two-bedrooms are on the upper level, one is a King ensuite and the other room contains a queen bed with separate bathroom. There is a large second master bedroom containing a queen bed on the main level with a shared bathroom between that level and the bedroom but it still felt like another unsuited. Finally, there is another bedroom in the basement with a queen bed and there is also a sleeper sofa on the lower level in the rec room. Each bedroom has plenty of closet / storage space for skis, ski equipment or anything else. Our only complaint was that we didnt spend more time in Lake Placid because there is so much to do in the spring and summer. Andy and Rachels lodge is uniquely appointed with hard-wood flooring, granite countertops and ceramic tile throughout. The Olympic dcor was perfect. This location was great for our family of 5 plus two teenage cousins traveling with us. The space was abundant. The kitchen was both neatly organized and well-stocked with almost anything one would need. This truly felt like our home away from home, and you can definitely tell that a lot of thought went into making guests feel that way. We were amazed by the wrap around deck accessible from either the front door or sliding glass doors off the living room and all of its seating capacity. The wonderful lower level is designed for entertainment with a wet bar, two small stocked refrigerators, a flat screen TV, and Foosball. I think our most favorite memory is the hike down by the babbling brook that leads to the waterfront of Lake Placid where one can find paddle boarding, kayaking and the Moose Lodge waterfront restaurant. This was the perfect hike for the end of our day as we looked out over the water with Whiteface Mountain as our backdrop. We will definitely be back to Lake Placid and Sand Brook Lodge. What a wonderful place for our crew to relax!

Q. What type of vacation rental properties do you offer?
A. We offer a wide selection of vacation rental properties ranging from cozy cabins to luxury retreats. We set very high-standards to enhance your vacation experience and ensure guest satisfaction. All Engel & Volkers rental properties are well maintained in desirable locations, fully furnished and tastefully appointed.
Q. What are your office hours?
A. Our office is open from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. six days a week, Sunday’s by appointment and available to handle issues 24/7.
Q. Where and when do I check-in the day of my arrival?
A. Check in time is 4:00 p.m. unless we have approved and earlier check-in time. Please stop by our office to pick up your key and complimentary welcome tote. If you plan to arrive after 5:00 p.m., kindly let us know and we will make arrangements with you for key pickup. Engel & Volkers is conveniently located at 2284 Saranac Avenue, Lake Placid, NY 12946.
Q. When is departure time?
A. The check-out time is 10:00 a.m., sharp. If possible, we will grant late check-out requests on the day of departure. Please call us at least 48 hours in advance if you wish to extend your check-out. Please note that late check-outs are not always available due to reservation turnovers.
Q. Is there a cleaning fee?
A. Yes, there is a one-time cleaning fee that applies to every rental. This fee is based on the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and overall size of the property. If you’d like additional housekeeping during your stay, please call us to book a mid-stay clean.
Q. Are linens and towels included?
A. Yes, all of our vacation rental properties include linens and towels at the property for your use.
Q. Are paper products, soaps and other household supplies included?
Our vacation rentals are furnished with a start-up supply of paper and soap products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, garbage bags, a clean sponge and laundry soap. Some homes may also have a basic supply of spices, cooking oil and cooking spray. Depending on how long your stay is and your level of usage, you may need to purchase more of these items at any of the local grocery stores.
Q. Are washers & dryers available?
A. Yes, most of our properties have a washer and dryer available.
Q. Are pets permitted?
A. Some of our vacation properties accept pets and a pet deposit is required. Please look for a pet friendly designation on our web-site or call us and we can help arrange suitable accommodations.
Q. Is smoking allowed in my rental property?
A. No, smoking is strictly prohibited in any of our vacation properties.
Q. Is there air-conditioning in my rental property?
A. Most properties do not have air conditioning since the average daily high temperature tends to hover around 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer months.
