We are excited to welcome you back to the Adirondacks. New York State Regulations
In New York State, Real Estate and Rentals is scheduled in Phase 2 of Governor Cuomo’s plan for reopening which could be as early as May 29, 2020. We have received general opening guidance from the New York State Association of Realtors and have implemented a recommended company plan for COVID-19 Exposure Prevention, Preparedness and Response. Industry specific guidance has not yet been provided by New York State. As we reopen our doors, our promise to you remains the same: a hospitable, comfortable, beautiful and relaxing stay for you and your loved ones. Additionally, to best serve you during your visit, we have adjusted our operations in accordance with New York State and local guidelines along with recommendations from the CDC, EPA, World Health Organization, NYSAR, VRMA and VRHP.
On May 15, 2020 the region entered Phase 1 of the NY Forward path to reopening but it’s important to know before you travel that many of our beautiful communities and venues remain on shut down and have little or no access to restaurants, shops and amenities other than take-out services. Many summer events have been postponed or cancelled. If you decide to visit, please be respectful of our communities and adhere to traveler guidelines put forth on lakeplacid.com. At this time, no special events or gatherings will be allowed. All visitors must adhere to the CDC guidelines of social-distancing, including no gatherings of more than 10 people and 6 ft. or more in between groups.
As you prepare to visit the public lands inside the Adirondacks, we ask that you please take a moment to make a pledge to “Love Your Adirondacks” and follow guidelines and 7 principles that have been carefully outlined to leave no trace and enjoy sustainable recreation in the Adirondack Park.
