My friends and I spent two nights in this roomy, comfortable, beautifully updated home that has amazing views of mountains. Surrounded by nature and private, yet close to other homes, it was a perfect respite for lifelong friends to enjoy a few days at Upper Jay, Lake Placid and also at Whiteface Mountain. The oversized covered deck, and lawn area was the perfect way to enjoy the sunsets outdoors, even when it was raining a bit. Inside the house had every amenity we could think of from oversized bedrooms, with renovated bathrooms and a kitchen that was open and accommodated all of us. The equipment in the kitchen made morning coffee and afternoon lunches a pleasure to prepare. The house was also so convenient to many great restaurants, which we enjoyed nearby, and had easy access to trailheads and swimming holes too! The communication for check-in and check-out was a breeze and we are very excited to come back and to also share this gem with our friends and family.

We absolutely loved staying at Mirror Loj. We loved sitting on the dock and in the many different areas on the property. What a great property!

The location was fabulous and downstairs neighbors were incredibly nice. The property is charming but may need a few more amenities to make it completely comfortable.

"We enjoyed our stay while skiing for three nights in Lake Placid. The house is newly renovated and well furnished. I would definitely stay here again if in the area. I bet it would also be beautiful in the summer too, as it has a lovely furnished deck overlooking a creek and some woods."
